ST. PETERSBURG, FL, July 2026 – Northwest Collision Center has completed its expanded customer lounge at the shop's Tyrone Boulevard location. The larger space gives drivers an area to use while their vehicles are in for repair. The lounge is finished and now open to customers.
The project follows the company's expansion of its St. Petersburg facility from 17,000 to 42,000 square feet. The build-out was designed to support faster service and more advanced repair capabilities. The finished lounge extends that added space to the customer side of the operation.
Northwest Collision Center has been family-owned and operated since 1959, making it the city's oldest collision repair center. The shop is I-CAR Gold Class certified, a distinction held by about 10 percent of collision centers nationwide. It is also factory-approved by Mazda and Lexus, accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and backed by more than 680 five-star Google reviews.
